 If you have limited time then planning is essential to make the most of your vacation.  The area which surrounds the Grand Canyon is called ‘The Grand Circle’, and there are many websites which provide tourism information.  The Grand Circle covers a large area and many options, so your holiday itinerary can be tailored to suit your personal interests. 

Grand Circle Region

Grand Circle Association.  This website provides a useful overview of the Grand Circle Area.  A very good map is provided, which highlights the main attractions in the area.  This website provides links to the individual website for each attraction.

Grand Canyon – West to East

Grand Canyon Skywalk.  The Skywalk is in the western section of the Grand Canyon, called the West Rim.  It is within the region of the Grand Canyon owned by the Hualapai Indian Nation, which is centred in Peachtree.

Havasupai Tribe.  This website provides details for travellers who are interested in visiting the Havasupai section of the Grand Canyon, which is to the west of the NPS South Rim.  The key attractions are five magnificent waterfalls.

Grand Canyon National Park.  The National Park Service (NPS) website contains everything you need to know to plan your visit to the Grand Canyon.  The main entry points to the Grand Canyon National Park are the North Rim and the South Rim.

Visitors to the USA may not realise that there are many categories of attraction, which include National Park Service, National Monuments, National Conservation Areas, National Forests, National Recreation Areas, Utah State Parks, Arizona State Parks,  Wilderness Areas and Native American Attractions.  Most of these websites include interactive maps to assist in finding destinations.  The Grand Circle Association destinations section provides an excellent reference to all of the attractions within the Grand Circle area, including links to the specific website for each attraction.
